Knox Expert Fundamentals
This section of the Knox Expert course, takes participants through a phased approach to understand a sample use-case in four key blocks:
Discovery
During the discovery phase, participants are guided through a use-case based on realistic customer needs, resembling detailed requirements gathering sessions happening daily.
The use-case is then referenced to throughout the other phases of Knox Expert Fundamentals section of the course.
Design
Following a review of the customer's requirements, the course's design phase guides the participants on how to create an enrollment profile, assign business applications, establish basic security policies, and configure a firmware campaign and how devices enroll into the different solutions.
Manage
Continuing on the customers journey, during the manage section the customer requests changes to their configuration.
The partner will investigate and learn how to complete changes to the customers configuration.
Troubleshoot
The final section focuses on enhancing the partner's troubleshooting knowledge though hands-on demonstration.
Partners will use the interactive portal to generate dumpstate logs, KSP logs and more.

The Workshop |

The Knox Expert Workshop supports participants of the Knox Expert course with a series of product centred, use-case focused sessions across two half-days. Whilst this workshop is now optional, participants are encouraged to join to ensure they get the most out of Knox Expert. |

The Exam |

Knox Expert exam is comprised of a series of scenario-based questions calling on the use-case built in the fundamentals section, giving participants the opportunity to fully engage with the story that develops throughout the course. This enables Samsung to assess participant knowledge and understanding of Samsung Knox solution & service features in a relation to customer needs. |

The assessment is also based on the use-case story that has grown throughout the Knox Expert course, which supports participants with a detailed picture of what the customer requirements are when it comes to them delivering an end assessment video. This is the time participants can finally show what they're capable of. They should take their time, check that what is being asked for is being delivered and strive for 100%! |
Course Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)
Yes, there are some prerequisites you should have completed before becoming a Knox Expert. These ensure all participants meet a core competency and understanding before taking the exam. You will need to have completed: Knox Associate, Knox Professional and at least Android Enterprise Professional.
There are a number of courses designed specifically for Samsung Knox partners.
The Knox Expert course launches in January and will be accessible through the Samsung Business Academy (SBA). If you participated in the European session but are from another region, we recommend discussing the availability of the Knox Expert program with your regional Samsung representative.
In the months after launching in SBA, the local training teams will incorporate the Knox Expert course into their platform. Please await official communication from your regional Samsung representative.
The course is supported in English.
